|
A transfer station is located in both Manns Harbor and Buxton, to provide for the transfer of collected building material and white goods that are disposed of at these locations. These locations house a weigh in station where residents and commercial builders can have the waste weighed in prior to disposal at the appropriate sites. These locations also provide local residence an area where they can drop off appliances, metals, home furnishings, and auto tires. This department also participates in other county projects as assigned by the Public Works Director.
