The Dare County Youth Center located in
Kill Devil Hills serves as the primary location for some of
the Parks and Recreation activities of the Northern Beach
Division. The center conveniently located next to the middle
and high schools, provides an after school location for
students in middle and high school. The center has two full
court gyms for basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, ping pong
and other activities, TV room, three multipurpose rooms,
rooms for arts and crafts, studying or using the Center's
computers, kitchen and dance room.
The Center is open daily but hours
may vary according to what time of the the year it is,
weather conditions, scheduled holidays and special events.
Planned programming is offered year round.
